Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is an Afghani woman born to a Russian father and an Hindu Indian mother. She can speak fluent German Russian English, French Persian as well as Hindi. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father, as well as mother of a Russian mother. In her early teens, she choreographed an act that earned her a slot on German TV as a graceful Russian snow maiden that turns into a playful Indian dancer. She graduated from high school at the age of 11 in New York before earning a Bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. Following the high school year, she took classes in acting at HB but subsequently enrolled in improv in Groundlings School. She then performed in a variety of comedy roles. She was born to an Afghani Hindu-Indian mother and Russian father from Kabul in Afghanistan. The couple divorced when she was 13 years older and they relocated from the city of her birth to East Meadow New York with her father.She stars alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell on FX's The Americans. Her most well-known role is the former KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. She had a recurring part on Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
