Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation on television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother, was born in Columbus Ohio on June 26, 1976. Then she began moving to Texas in search of an athletic therapy profession in the University of Texas. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for very long, and she soon relocated in Orlando Florida, where she was able to take on various acting roles, including independent local films and commercials. Despite having small parts, the actress quickly realized her passion for performing. She then moved into New York in 2001 and she got her first acting job in the role of Rosa Santos on All My Children A daytime soap. Through the early part of 2000, she played small roles in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was offered her first big series part in the drama The Mountain. The character was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was lucky enough to be a part of a cast that included some of the best TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her most famous role was Law & Order, where she portrayed A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was on the show for 85 episodes. In the course of a limited time, her character moved over to Law & Order: LA. De La Garza's character was recognized with several nominations which included Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She was also awarded ALMA Award nods. In 2008, De La Garza received the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a part-time role in CSI Miami a short time after. She was cast in the role of Marisol Delko, who is the spouse of David Caruso's Horatio. On NBC's dark and dramatic drama Do No Harm she played her character in the role of Dr. Lena Solis. The show was canceled after two short episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The mother of the child is a Italian father as well as one brother Cory, who is 10 year younger than her. Her family was an orthodox and religious family. Milano was seven years older when her babysitter took Milano to an audition. She was one of the four girls chosen from thousands of hopefuls. Milano was featured on television in commercials, and off Broadway productions including a musical adaptation from Jane Eyre.
